How to Visit a Christmas Village in Naples


Until 18 December 2022, it is possible to visit the Santa Claus Village hosted in the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples.

Naples is changing its appearance to celebrate Christmas 2022. The city is making room for the many Christmas lights and themed events that will take place throughout the month of December 2022.

In addition to special events throughout the city, there are tons of traditional activities not to be missed. Stroll through the most folkloristic neighborhoods, taste Neapolitan Christmas sweets, and participate in the famous bingo games. In addition to all this, the city offers the opportunity to visit the Christmas Village set up in one of the largest exhibition areas in Naples, the Mostra d’Oltremare. Here’s what it is.

A Christmas Village in Naples

christmas village 2022At the Mostra d’Oltremare there is the largest Christmas Village in Campania. Until December 18, it will be the perfect setting to experience the magic of Christmas.

The Christmas Village at the Mostra d’Oltremare is a huge Christmas-themed village. There, there are 100 log cabins, an ice skating rink, and a large play area. In addition to being able to simply walk in the Christmas village of Naples, it is possible to book to take part in many games and educational workshops. Among these, there is even a workshop dedicated to decorating the Christmas tree! In addition, the Village is equipped with a large food area where you can eat. The Village will also be the setting for numerous events and concerts that will take place within the area itself.

The Christmas Village at the Mostra d’Oltremare is open from Monday to Friday, from 4.30 to 9.30 pm. On Saturday and Sunday, on the other hand, the opening hours are extended – from 11.30 am to 11.30 pm.
The entrance ticket costs 15 euros for adults and 12 euros for children up to 8 years old. Children younger than 2 enter for free.
